Review: The Power of Positive Thinking
This is one of my favourite book which I read few years back. In this famous best seller Norman Vincent Peale demonstrates the power of faith in action. Through the actual experiences of men and women who have come to him for guidance, Dr. Peale shows how the proper attitude of mind can change lives and win success in all things.
His most popular book, 'The Power Of Positive Thinking' has sold over 5 million copies worldwide and takes a Christian perspective and real-world approach to positive psychology.
This book is easy to read and has 17 chapters of which my favorites are Believe in Yourself, Try Prayer Power, How to Break the Worry Habit and How to Use Faith in Healing.
It starts from believing in yourself, like if you want to start your company, go for it without any disbelief or double thoughts, you may have a bit anxiety but that is absolutely normal. Then, the second and third chapter revolves around the peaceful mind and constant energy, where he mentions one quote which states that, "I didn't go to bed with an ear full of trouble. I went to sleep with a mind full of peace."
Chapter 4 and 5 consists of Prayer Power and as how to create your own Happiness. You are the sole owner and the reason of your happiness. There are ten must read rules mentioned in the book for getting effective results from prayer.
Furthermore, there are other chapters which concentrates on how to solve personal problems, relax for easy power, how to get people like you and others.
It's an interesting book for those who believe in Christianity and has a power to fulfill their dreams by thinking positive and acting towards their goal.
