Pearl Harbor - A Military Strike

Hello Everyone,
Thank you so much for reading. Hoping you are doing great.

The Attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service upon the United States against the naval base at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday morning, December 7, 1941.

The attack led to the United States' formal entry into World War II the next day. The movie "Pearl Harbor" was filmed in the year 2001 based on this attack.
It is an American romantic period war drama film directed by Michael Bay, produced by Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer and written by Randall Wallace. The budget of the movie was $140 M.
This movie kept me dumbfounded. This is absolutely a must watch movie.

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, also referred to as Pearl Harbor Day, is observed annually in the United States on December 7, to remember and honour the 2,403 citizens of the United States who were killed.

The attack sank four U.S. Navy battleships four others. It also damaged four others. It also damaged three cruisers, three destroyers, and one minelayer. Aircraft losses were 188 destroyed and 159 damaged.

Aftermath: Canada declared war on Japan within hours of the attack on Pearl Harbor. On December 8, the United States declared war on Japan and entered World War II on the side of the Allies.
